2nd Team Win!

Our Twos, under the guidance of skipper James M, were the toast of the Nomads after they skittled Lindfield away for just 70 runs. Owen, on loan from the 1s starred with a breath taking 5 wickets. Ajaz Noorzai chipped in with 3 for 20 as the Nomads had a good day in the field with 6 catches and a Ammad run out. It turned out its the 2nd week running Lindield were sent home early.

In reply Gatts and Baalaaj safely saw the team home.

James will be immensely proud of his team who are operating in the very tough surrounds of Sussex Div 2. It’s a result that sees our 2s move into a comfortable mid table position with the luxury of now being able to look towards the top half during July.

Stephen Rigg Haunts the North Square. 1st team miss out against Brighton.

In an extraordinary game on our North Square Adam O continued his excellent season with 4 wickets as the visitors had to settle for 133 all out. 2 wickets for Danny, Kash and Bertie must of had skipper Phillips purring at half time.

However after another positive start from our openers Nathan and Jake Nomads went from 72 for 3 to 120 all out. Stephen Rigg with something like his career best Sussex Prem figures ripped out a top batting line up. 13 overs 8 for 32!

Nomads to dust off and go again still very much leading Sussex Premier.

3s Look at George 56 and Luke 48 in 182 for Inspiration in Loss

Our under pressure 3s must of been very pleased with their batting performance after 40 overs against Ditchling at home.

In a competitive affair Malorie took two for 24 as the visitors crashed to 41 for 3. However in form Dan Gorringe settled the match with a run a ball half century.

Our Threes played a good game in defeat and will need take that into the next game in an effort to escape Div 6 relegation zone.

4s in Agony at St Matthias. One wicket loss.

Nomads were slung in and it was a batting performance to quickly forget, 91 all out off 32.

However 3 wickets from both Dylan Hutchins and Luke Owen put the hosts under pressure. But they clung on 9 down for 30 points!

4s to work on their batting this week.

So huge congrats to our 2s, the pride of the Nomads yesterday.
