At Preston Nomads Cricket Club, in partnership with Sussex Disability Cricket, we’re delighted to introduce specialised coaching sessions tailored for players with disabilities. Our goal is to create a supportive, fun-filled environment where everyone can experience the excitement of cricket, regardless of ability.
Dates and times for these sessions will be announced soon. Keep an eye out for updates, and get ready to join a warm, welcoming community that truly celebrates diversity and inclusivity in sport.
Why Disability Cricket Matters
Disability cricket offers far more than just a chance to play a game:
- Teamwork and Camaraderie: Players learn to support one another, celebrate successes, and foster a sense of unity.
- Boosting Self-Confidence: Mastering new techniques and overcoming challenges on the field can have a positive impact on self-esteem.
- Physical Health: Regular training sessions encourage mobility, coordination, and overall fitness.
- Community Impact: Inclusive sports programs promote acceptance, reduce social isolation, and help build stronger local networks.
By placing accessibility at the core of our cricket programs, we strive to break down barriers, champion diversity, and demonstrate the positive influence sport can have on individuals and communities alike.

- Training and Match Fixtures: Players will have the opportunity to develop their cricket skills through regular training sessions, fun drills, and friendly matches. Dates and times for these sessions will be announced soon.
