Dear Nomads,

I hope this message finds you well. On behalf of the trustees, I would like to express my sincere gratitude to every player who took part in the Annual General Meeting (AGM) held 24th January. Your presence and engagement played a crucial role in making the meeting a success.

The AGM provided us with a valuable opportunity to reflect on the achievements of the past year, discuss important matters, and set the course for the upcoming months. On behalf of Nomads Community, we expressed our sincere appreciation to Chairman, Paul Hird for his invaluable dedication and visionary leadership in steering our cricketing endeavors. His commitment has been a driving force, and we extend our heartfelt thanks as you step down, leaving a lasting impact on our cricketing community.

The Structure of Nomads Trustee Board was confirmed last night as shared with you all via Pitchero. I am therefore delighted to announce that Rosalind Eaton will be the first female chair of Nomads.

I am also delighted to announce that Nav is confirmed as skipper of the 1st XI and plans are in place to win the Premier League.

Jimmy will again lead the 2nd XI and everyone is excited about the impact the team will have in Division 2!

Faz has already started a 14 week winter training camp as he prepares for leading the 3rd XI to Division Six Champions.

Finally, Steven Oliver has stepped down as Captain of the 4th XI, after a very successful reign as leader. He leaves the team in a great place and I am delighted announce, Mal Short as the new and first ever female skipper of the 4th XI.

If you have any further feedback or suggestions, please feel free to share them with me or Steve Gatting. Your input is invaluable as we strive for continuous improvement.

We look forward to working together towards a successful and prosperous 2024 season.

Adam Rowland
Vice Chair of Cricket
