U10s Play Pairs Cricket at the SCMG

Our U10s played out a very exciting game of cricket against St James on the gorgeous South Lawn on Saturday morning.   At this stage of their development its all about having fun and participation.  From what I observed we have some fine prospects with the ball and all the players seemed to be very happy to do their fielding duties.  Chasing 134 there was some great batting up top however is was St James who squeezed to victory late in the day.  Manager Joe Munro said later ‘several wickets at the end of the inns meant that Nomads came up a little short.  Some work to be done on backing up in the field but we are a very young team.  Well done to the boys.’

Our U10s are next in action on June 1st at St Peters.   Good luck to the team.
