Most embarrassing moment in cricket:Turning up 30 minutes late for the over 50?s County Semi-Final against Wales a few years ago when I should have been opening the batting. One game for Sussex in the first year of the Sunday League. Captain Preston Nomads and Captain Sussex League Representative Team.

Best (amateur cricketer) you have played against:Probably Simon Dyson who bowled fast leg spins in the Surrey League, then for Cheshire.

What's your greatest ambition:It?s a bit late for ambitions now, but it will have to be to play golf well after I retire from cricket.

Best cricketer you have ever watched:Gary Sobers. He was brilliant at everything, batting, fast bowling, slow bowling and fielding.
